AS Rimess, which starts providing accounting services, is established on 6 March.

Eva Veinberg and Mati Nõmmiste, the owners of Rimess, receive their auditor’s licences in December, provision of audit services starts.

1995

Rimess becomes a correspondent member of the international network of audit and accountancy service providers Moores Rowland International.

A new office is opened in Võru.

1999

Establishing the tax, legal and financial advisory area starts.

Becoming a full member of Moores Rowland International, which is also reflected in the name: Rimess MRI.

2004

The accounting and audit firm Capital merges with Rimess MRI, an office is opened in Tartu.

2005

Becoming a correspondent member of the international audit, accounting and advisory network Mazars.

2006

Rimess enters the Lithuanian market: an audit and consultancy firm in Vilnius is acquired.

2007

Activities in Vilnius are expanded and an office is opened in Kaunas, two audit and consultancy firms merge with Rimess.

A new association, Praxity, is formed on the initiative of MRI and Mazars members, Rimess obtains the right to use the Praxity trademark.

2008

Rimess starts operating in Latvia, an accounting company in Riga is acquired.

Rimess expands its activities in Lithuania and opens an office in Klaipeda.

2009

The trademark Rimess Baltic is introduced to emphasise operations in the three Baltic countries.

2010

The audit firm Alliott Kangust merges with Rimess Baltic.

2012

Joining the global network of accounting, audit and advisory firms Grant Thornton International. Rimess Baltic becomes Grant Thornton Rimess Baltic.

2015

The BDO team of financial advisers, auditors and accountants merges with the Latvian company of Grant Thornton Rimess.

The name Rimess becomes history, the new name is Grant Thornton Baltic.

2016

Interna, a company that specialises in internal audits, is bought.
